If i buy Battlefield Bad Company 2 for PC , do i have to pay to play online, or are the servers free ?|||If you use the dedicated servers you don't have to pay to play online. I believe you can also play through Steam servers and you may get more dedication here but more restrictions. The benefit from from steam is you get no hacking the game.|||I use steam servers to play games like team fortress and left 4 dead on pc for free.
The thing is their are people that make their own servers to get you easy achievements(from the map setup) and there is a password that you have to enter to get into the server which you have to pay them.
Other then that it is free.
