The reason I ask is because BC2 came out a little while ago and Battlefield 2 is around 5 years old. I just don't understand why DICE would just drop the Bad Company franchise and decide to continue an older one.|||If it was a sequel to Bad Company 2, I'm sure the title would include the Bad Company part.
Don't worry, it doesn't mean DICE dropped the franchise. Remember when Call of Duty: World at War came out first instead of the second Modern Warfare game? It's kind of like this situation. The next Battlefield game after this one will most likely be the third Bad Company though.|||Yes it is. They haven't said when it comes out though. This is from wikipedia:
