Lost ea connection to battlefield bad company 2?

We just got battlefield bad company 2 for the xbox and when we try to play online it says unable to connect to ea servers. A few months ago we were able to play it perfectly fine. But now it seems we cant play any ea game online. examples: medal of honor the newest one,and madden 11. We are also on live perfectly fine the gold membership isn't up and is still good. have they shut down it's servers for battlefield 3? if so that is complete BS.|||then buy battlefield 3 duh|||that happend to me 2
